Since 2004 Brazil has become the worlds biggest meat exporter. In the last 50 years Brazil has increased its meat production from 1.3 million tones to 9 million tones per year. Most fast food restaurants containing burgers in the menu depend on Brazils meat. Brazils global meat trade has reached the value of $40 billion Brazilian government makes a huge profit out of this industry

So how is the meat produced?

Starts with a pretty rainforest with lots of animals and plants Then its cut down leaving animals and tribes with no homes

Then its cleaned via burning Then its transformed into factories

The cows are slaughtered The meat is packed and sold

Now people can find it here

Deforestation
Since 1970 , 600 000 square kilometres have been destroyed. 5.4 million acres are lost per year.

All this amount of trees cut down contribute hugely to cleaning the atmosphere from green house gasses such as carbon dioxide. And more than that, the amount of green house emissions caused by burning these forest to clean them and the amount of gasses emitted by the Industries that are placed there are gigantic. Lots of species have been endangered and some of the worlds unknown species that lived in the rainforest have been lost.

More than 1.5 billion tons of carbon dioxide are released to the atmosphere due to deforestation, mainly the cutting and burning of forests, every year.

Cutting Cleaning Producing

Climate change
The high emissions of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere cause the heating of the planet. The carbon dioxide builds up and the temperature in the area increases as CO2 retains heat. This causes changes like dry seasons, very hot summers, etc.
