NASA
National Association of Students of Architecture. It is a students body for the students of Architecture formed by the students of JJ COLLEGE, MUMBAI & CEPT, AHMEDABAD. It is 53 years old organization which is being run by the students of architecture & is the biggest association of students all over the ASIA. It is also affiliated from the COA ( Council of Architecture).

Our college became the member of NASA in 2005 n since then is the active participant.
It happens twice a year at two levels : 1) Annual NASA at national level 2) Zonal NASA at zone level With the time its member has increased and now colleges of the SAARC countries and from other countries are member of NASA . It basically gives a platform to the Architecture students and to enhance their designing skills and mind thorough various design trophies an events

Why do we participate in NASA ????

We want to make our college proud by winning the NASA To learn from the work done in different colleges To get the exposure of the real architectural world To know the standard of work done in our college as compared to other colleges Enhance our architectural thinking We get a chance to interact with students of different colleges. To discuss with the ongoing issues in the world with the eminent Architects

Our past records in NASA

D.C.R.U.S.T MURTHAL , is one of the colleges who all are active member
of NASA and has won various awards for their colleges and have make them proud. SAARC NASA08,PUNE - Hosted Indian ARCH Magazine

Annual NASA design competitions 2008-09 - reached the second last round of the trophy and are in top 21 entries out of total 383 entries from 103 colleges/institution all over India. ZoNASA 2007-08, LIT Jalandhar Annual NASA convention 2006-07 participating colleges/institutions. ZoNASA 2006-07, SSAA Gurgaon ZoNASA 2007-08, VKA Delhi ZoNASA 2007-08, ASAA, Jaipur ZoNASA 2007-08, GCA, Lucknow - 1st position - won G.SEN trophy out of 63 - 1st position - 1st position - 1st position - 4th position

ANALYSIS TROPHY

Along the trophies we have various types of events for the students organized by the host college. 1) Formal events 2) Informal events 3) Casual events Along with the events we have seminars by eminent Architects from all over the India and different workshops. The Green Architect Karan Grover is now working with the NASA and is providing his needful hands in uplifting NASA.
