For

the students who learns or want to learn linguistics, this research hopefully can be used as the reference of language studies. For increasing societys awareness in responds to the language use by politicians

The

scope for this research is antropolinguistic approach through using functional semiotic analysis. The analysis will focus on various features of language used in politicians utterances related to the cultural performance. The additional theory is Bakhtins dialogism theory.

This research is related to previous researches. First, Lunssford (2006) researched about the authority in debate through an intertextuality, or utterance, of other authorities, and that conflict within blind discourse communities. Halim (2010) revealed the construction of power, and the controversial aspects of intertextual references in the two speeches of SBY. Sandarupas article (KOMPAS, 2009:1) which is entitled the loss of poetic political language made his interpretation about the language used of politicians performances in order to responsible his cultural ability in front of public. Sandarupa (2013) analyzed the voice of a child constructing a moral society through poetic performance in Toraja.

Antropolinguistics Antropolinguistic is a sub-discipline of linguistics that studies the relationship of language and culture of human cultural fields. Functional Semiotics Silverstein (2001) gave a new idea in analyzing the text through the complex analysis of semiotic which is indexical analysis. Silverstein in Sandarupa (2013:1) described that functional semiotic text study is the theory to understand the text as a language used.

Denotational Text
Denotational text is concerned on communicating the information of what is being talked about from the utterance. Sandarupa (2013:4) In order to indicate those various kinds, Intuitions of topicality can be the formal machinery which can indicate the language.

A. Library research This study is a qualitative descriptive research. Through this research the writer spends her time in reading a lot the Anthropolinguistics, Bakhtins theory and the analysis of functional semiotic by Silverstein B. Field research The data of this research is taken by the political debates among the three couple of governor and vice governor of South Sulawesi. The political debate was held at CCC (Celebes Convention Center) Building and was broadcasted on Metro TV in January 18th 2013. C. Technique of Data Collection

1. Internet Searching 2. Trancribing

The writer will analyze what the political debate means in her research according to the arguments and the social factors of the debate itself The writer will differentiate first the authority and utterance on the text of political debate transcription, then using functional semiotic approach by Silverstein in order to know the features of the governor and vice governor candidates utterances The last, after finding the features of the utterances the data will be ready to transcribed by Bakhtin theory in order to know the dialogism exist in the debate.
