The goal of spea+ing is to i!prove students> co!!unicative s+ill 1y telling their ideas the students can i!prove their spea+ing a1ility and increase their confidence.

This research was conducted in "M% ' 2 3rogol on 5st (cto1er 2456 until 65st (cto1er 2456. The school is located at Du+uh Mantung "anggrahan 3rogol "u+ohar9o. The school has three grades of classes which are first grade second grade and third grade. In the current curriculu! each grade is na!ed with class C for the first grade class < for the second grade and for the third grade is class ;.

C. Collecting Data
In this classroo! action research the researcher collected the data using test. The Test consist of %re Test is done 1efore the researcher give the treat!ent. %ost Test done after the retelling techni-ue using !ovie applicated in the TeachingA Learning %rocess.

D. Data $nalysis
$ccording to Mills :2444:54C= -uantitative data is done 1y calculating the preAtest the test of cycleA5 and the test of cycleA2. The ai! of the tests is to +nowing the differences 1etween the students, achieve!ent 1efore and after treat!ent.

The cycle I consists of three !eetings each !eeting is ;4 !inutes and I prepared a lesson plan for three !eetings at once. In the first !eeting I displayed a !ovie in the class 1esides I gave a su!!ary or teDt to help the students, co!prehension.

In the second !eetings I focused on the narrative teDt and I as+ed the students to open the handout that was given 1efore. Then I as+ed one of the students voluntarily to retell in front of the class. There were two students who ca!e voluntarily. $nd the third !eetings is post test.

The Reflection of Cycle I


The researcher found the students, progress in spea+ing s+ill. The students enthusias! to learn &nglish. "core of pre test is /.0 and the !ean of post test cycle I is 0.;. It can 1e said that the i!prove!ent is -uite significant.

1. Cycle II
The cycle I consists of three !eetings each !eeting is ;4 !inutes and I prepared a lesson plan for three !eetings at once. In the first !eeting I as+ed a1out students, favorite story. It was done to !a+e the students to show their ideas freely. Then I pic+ed one of the stories and discussed a1out the plot which was related to the organiBation of a narrative teDt. Then I play the !ovie entitled Bawang Merah and Bawang Putih. $fter watched the !ovie I as+ed the student to !a+e su!!ary and collect their su!!ary. Then I as+ed student to retell their story in front of the class.

In the second !eeting I did the sa!e thing in the first !eeting 1ut the situation of the class was !uch 1etter than the first !eeting. "o!e students ca!e voluntarily without 1eing called. The student showed a great effort in giving the correct pronunciation. It was shown 1y the pause !ade 1y students every ti!es they ca!e to a word that was discussed in previous !eeting. Ehen I said FneDtG several students stood in a ti!e. $t the end of the !eeting I as+ed the students to prepare a story to 1e perfor!ed for the postAtest in the third !eetings.

The Reflection of Cycle II


The students were !ore enthusiastic in the cycle II. The students showed !ore confidence so that it decreased the nervousness of the students. The at!osphere also encouraged the teaching learning process !ore.
