Profile

The BLNG Features

The pre-cooling is carried out in corein-kettle HE by propane, the liquefaction and sub-cooling are carried out in spiral-wound HE (proprietary of APCI) by the mixture of nitrogen-methane-ethane-propane

Supporting Unit
Eleven boilers generate the steam for the turbines, which drive the refrigerant compressors. Treated river water is used as cooling medium via an open recirculating cooling cycle. An open cooling water system in which 135,000 m/hr of water is being circulated, is used for heat extraction from the refrigeration and steam cycles. The energy consumption of the plant is the equivalent of a 300 MW power station. It comes from steam boilers which drive the turbine compressor and generator turbines. The boilers are fired by fuel gas, accounting for about nine percent of the plant's total intake. LNG that vaporises during storage and loading is recycled and compressed to form part of the fuel gas supply.

The pre-cooling is carried out in spiral-wound HE by the mixture of ethane-propane, the liquefaction and subcooling are carried out in spiral-wound HE by the mixture of nitrogen-methaneethane-propane Pre-cooling section utilizing two-stage single casing centrifugal compressor which directly connected to frame 7 gas turbine driver. Liquefaction using two centrifugal compressors in series which directly connected to frame 7 gas turbine driver

Supporting Unit
utility systems, including instrument air and nitrogen plants and diesel fuel systems; A wastewater treatment plant to treat both sewage water and coil-containing water. Five gas turbine-driven generators with a total power capacity of around 129 MW. The jetty is fitted with four arms two loading arms, one dual purpose arm and one vapor return arm.
