Teams will be given certain sum in 4 different currencies. Eg: 100 USD, 100 Yen, 100 INR, 100 Euro etc. In the ppt slides, the bid & ask rates will constantly change. If in one market the rupee is 47.1256 in another 47.1259 he can immediately press the buzzer to lock the transaction The first person to press the buzzer will get to execute the transaction by using the cash he is given. In the final slide all currency the participant holds will be converted to rupee terms. The person who has more money in hand is the winner.

ROUND 1- Budget presentation
- Teams have to explain the current economic situation - Suggest reforms for fol. Sectors- 2-3 reforms/sector 1. Financial sector [Equities, investments (provident funds, pension funds)] 2. Agriculture 3. Petroleum 4. Manufacturing - Teams have to note the biggest glitch in the sector and suggest solutions for the same. - Allocate budget/ sector (there will be restrictions on the amount that can be allocated)

ROUND 2- Group Discussion


Teams will be given a write up of the sector. They'll have to study the sector, analyse, do further research if required and suggest reforms. - Sectors: 1. Banking (Retail banking) 2. Power - Write up would include industry details and current news about the sector.
