Plan
Environmental education as the FGD will be a venue for the participants to exchange knowledge and ideas in implementing a low impact lifestyle to improve the environment.

Aims to teach and encourage Miriam College students to practice a low impact lifestyle.
Our project, in collaboration with the Miriam College Communications Department and ESI will adopt the No Impact Week

Will only cover the first phase (planning phase) of the No Impact Week
The plan for this project is to gather various ideas that would make the No Impact Week pilot celebration in Miriam College feasible. We will make use of the Focus Group Discussion (FGD) and invite 4-6 student participants who belong to the field of environmental planning. The output of this advocacy project will be a project proposal and suggested ideas of how No Impact Week can be carried out.

Implementation
The Focus Group Discussion was held February 24, 2014 (9:00 11:00am) at the Alchemy, Katipunan Avenue. There were six (6) participants:
three (3) of which are fourth year students taking BS EPU and EPC;

one (1) third year student taking BS EPC

two (2) were the lecturers or host of the Focus Group Discussion.

Dee&Fi first introduced their Vision, Mission and Goals to the participants and clarified that the advocacy project and FGD would focus on the No Impact Project.

Presentation Content
The No Impact Project is an international, environmental, non-profit organization founded in the spring of 2009 by Mr. Colin Beavan. It utilizes entertainment, education, and group action to engage people in the quest for ways of living that connect individual happiness and service to community and habitat. The No Impact Week has been implemented in over 40 campuses abroad. Here in the Philippines, Workplace No Impact Weeks was first adopted by the Asian Development Bank. There are also programs such as the University No Impact Weeks wherein Miriam College can be part to experience the No Impact Week and learn about its benefits.
