CH-1 INTRODUCTION

GENERAL INDUSTRY OVERVIEW

ACTIVITY CLASSES IN AHMEDABAD

Ahmedabad is growing internationally and people are coming in contact with several new activities, some have started different classes for giving coaching for several activities like Dance, Music, Art & craft, Cooking, Computer etc.

Nearly from 1970s the number of classes started increasing in Ahmedabad. Several renowned classes are established during 1985 - 2000. Peoples are also having craze to learn this different activities because it makes them standing apart from others. The first class for western dance started in 1986. Now a day many activity classes are having internationally tie ups. They also take international exams and also prepare them for different competitions held at State and National Level.

DANCE CLASSES

ZAZZIEE DANCING HALL

History: Zazziee Dancing Hall had started since 1986 and at that time they were giving coaching for only break dance but later on they started teaching many other dance forms. Management: Mr. Hardik Joshi and Mrs. Mansi Joshi History: The classes was started on 19th January, 2007 by Mr. Hardik Joshi. The purpose for starting classes is to make aware peoples about musical language and make them to take interest in it. They also run recording arts at their place. Location: A/1, Malav Manorama Complex, Himmatlal Park, Near Keshav Baug party Plot, 132 Ring Road, Satellite, Ahmedabad-15.

Types of Coaching: Indian Classical: Tabla, Flute Western Classical: Piano, Guitar, Keyboard, Drums, Violin, Flute, Hand Sonic, Mouth Organ Harmonica Fees: Minimum fee is 6000 Rs. Management: Owner: Mr. Jayprakash Brambhat Assistant: 2 History: Mr. Jayprakash Brambhat is giving coaching in Yoga since last 10 years. He in this field more than 10 years. Location: Jayprakash Brambhat 5, Alok Shopping Centre, Near Prerna Tirth Derasar, Satellite, Ahmedabad.

Types of Coaching: Traditional, Contemporary (Based on Research), Thearapotical, power yoga, Aerobics, Certain work out Timings: Every session is of 45 minutes and for per session he charges 250 Rs. Weekly they are having three or Six sessions which is depends upon customers. In Group they dont allow more then 7 peoples and for that they are charging lumb sum 5000 Rs.

Fees: They are having 3 sessions Morning - 5:00 A.M to 9:30 A.M Evening - 7:00 P.M to 8:00 P.M. In evening most classes are for corporate. Specialty: Start with Flexibility, they also helps in Stress Management.

RECOMMENDATION
Awareness for under 18 age group in case of Yoga

classes. Increase publicity for Art & craft classes. Increase number of classes in all the fields. Combo packages in festive seasons. Tie up with schools to encourage students. Be co-operative in providing information.

CONCLUSION
Learning experience to work in a group.
Difficulty in collection of primary data. The work difficulty was dispersed.

FUTURE SUGESTION
Limited to Ahmedabad city only, it should be

expanded to other cities for wide research and analysis.
