A female sterilization which involves tying, cutting or searing the two fallopian tubes via surgery to block the passage way of uterus.
VASECTOMY

Male sterilization involves tying, cutting or searing the two deferens to prevent the sperm from mixing with the seminal fluid.

Putting a physical barrier between sperms or egg, so that they cannot meet.

Also called fertility awareness, refers to methods for planning and preventing pregnancies by observation of the naturally occurring signs and symptoms of the fertile and infertile phases of the menstrual cycle

Cervical Mucus Method

---Method relying on a womans familiarity with her body and its processes. The vaginal discharge after a womans period is used as the indicators of fertility.

Involves the daily recording of the temperature changes in the womans body with special thermometer.

SYMPTO-THERMAL METHOD
Combination of BBT and the cervical mucus method and other physiological indicators of ovulation, such as tenderness of the breast and mid-cycle pain.

Withdrawal

The man withdraws his penis from the womans vagina just before the sperm containing fluid ejaculates.

Prolonged Lactation
KNOWN TO PROTECT WOMEN FROM PREGNANCY FOR THE FIRST 6 MONTHS AFTER GIVING BIRTH.

Prolactin- suppressed ovulation on the nursing mother, also increased the supply of breast milk.

The Douche

Involves the washing out of the sperm and semen deposited inside the women vagina

Abstinence

Avoidance of any sexual activities that could cause pregnancy

5. Intra- uterine Devices or IUD

Made of small flexible plastic of metal a few centimeters long that is placed inside the uterus.
