HEMATIDROSIS:
The clinical term is “hematidrosis.” “Around the sweat
glands, there are multiple blood vessels in a net-like
form.” Under the pressure of great stress the vessels
constrict. Then as the anxiety passes “the blood
vessels dilate to the point of rupture. The blood goes
into the sweat glands.” As the sweat glands are
producing a lot of sweat, it pushes the blood to the
surface - coming out as droplets of blood mixed with
sweat.

cup he must drink, for taking it meant he would drink
man’s sin to the full and would drink the wrath of God
which man’s sin deserved.
Gazing into the cup, Jesus saw Hell opened for him,
and he staggered (Isaiah 51:17, 22). It is no
wonder that we see the blood-like sweat and the 19
tears, that we hear him crying out for deliverance. It

Conclusion
“You see that death was not voluntary for Christ as
far as the flesh was concerned, but it was
voluntary, because by it, according to the will of
the Father, salvation and life were given to all
men.”
