INTRODUCTION
construction companies are facing today. Delays will result in several negative effects like lawsuits between house owners and contractors, exaggerated prices Delays are unique one in every of the largest issues, loss of productivity and revenue, and contract termination. Schedule delay is a commonly occurring in construction projects. In this study identification & analysis of delays in construction projects. Conduct schedule delay analysis & reschedule to overcome delay.

OBJECTIVE
The study is to determine how different degrees of uncertainty impact the construction project. To identify the causes of delay for construction projects in Indian context. Conducting the questionnaire survey on various parameters and finding reasons for schedule delay in construction projects. Analytics the results. Implement new schedule to overcome deferment in construction project.

SCOPE
Develop a new prototype model and validate the functionality, usefulness & practicality through implementing in construction projects.

Comparison with other models.

Introduce the new deferment analytics model for construction projects.

QUESTIONNAIRE SURVEY
The main objective of the study is To identify the causes of delay for residential construction projects in Indian context To suggest the methodology to work out the importance by different techniques. To rank causes of delay by RII (Relative importance index) method and IMPI (Importance Index) method.
Frequency of occurrence Some Always Often Rarely times Degree of severity Extreme Great Moderate Little

DATA ANALYSIS APPROACHES

Frequency Index (F.I.) (%) = a (n/N) * 100/4 Severity Index (S.I.) (%)= a (n/N) * 100/4 Importance Index (IMP.I.)(%) = [F.I.(%)* S.I. (%)]/100 Rank correlation coefficient Relative importance weight Mean score Frequency Index Relative importance index
