That’s Who We Are
 Jesus An ‘Alien’
• Jesus came from heaven to earth in a
physical body.
• He came to earth to change the world – to
redeem the people and reconcile them to
God the Father.
 Heb 11:13
These all died in faith, not having
received the promises, but having
seen them afar off were assured of
them, embraced them and confessed
that they were strangers and pilgrims
on the earth.

(Heb 11:13) All these people died still believing what God had promised them. They did not receive what was promised, but
they saw it all from a distance and welcomed it. They agreed that they were foreigners and nomads here on earth.
 1 Pet 2:11
Beloved, I beg you as sojourners and pilgrims,
abstain from fleshly lusts which war against
the soul,

( 1Pe 2:11 )
Dear friends, I warn you as "temporary residents and foreigners" to
keep away from worldly desires that wage war against your very
souls.
• Definition Of Transformation:
• An operation that converts (as by deletion,
insertion, or permu tation)
• That don’t sound comfortable to me.

• Permu tation:
• often major or fundamental change (as in
character or condition) based primarily on
rearrangement of existent elements
Let me show you how irrelevant, un-casual,
and extra ordinary Jesus is:
– John 2 The Wedding At Cana
– He shows up at an ordinary wedding - serving
ordinary wine and takes water and makes it
extra ordinary.
– “You have KEPT the best until now!”

• John 4 – Jesus and the Samaritan
Woman At The Well
– He shows up at an unpopular well to talk with
unpopular woman about an unpopular lifestyle
and brings an irrelevant solution called
salvation.
John 9
– He finds the blind man and instead of being
relevant and gouging His own eyes out just to
make the man comfortable so he does not
feel secluded and different
– Jesus instead makes him like Him in that he
can see.
• Mark 2:1- 3
• (Mar 2:1) And again He entered Capernaum
after some days, and it was heard that He was
in the house.
• (Mar 2:2) Immediately many gathered
together, so that there was no longer room to
receive them, not even near the door. And He
preached the word to them.
• (Mar 2:3) Then they came to Him, bringing a
paralytic who was carried by four men.
• You see this world is run by Satan himself.
• Eph 2:2
• Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of
this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the
spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience:
• (Eph 2:2) You used to live in sin, just like the rest of the
world, obeying the devil—the commander of the powers in
the unseen world. He is the spirit at work in the hearts of
those who refuse to obey God.
