Project Guide

In certain conditions when it becomes important to keep an eye on something without even going close, or during war, it is too dangerous to send a person and risk human life. So to avoid loss of human life, a robot which is controlled wirelessly, is required.

Moreover, it is also important to know the location of the robot in order to get it back. This is where GPS comes into play. The plans of the intended target can be spoilt if their communication can be blocked. This is where a cell jammer would prove useful.

The aim of this project is to create a surveillance robot which can be used for surveillance and for blocking cellular frequencies. This will be achieved by mounting a cell jammer circuit on the robot. It will also be equipped with GPS to find its current location and also solar cell to continuously charge the on board battery.

The robot can be used in military application. So, there may be possibilities of unavailability of power. Solar cells can be used to charge the robot on the field. Eliminates the need for any external power source.

If the voltage produced by the solar panels is greater than the robots requirement. The excess power will be transferred to a rechargeable battery. It can then be used to power the robot in the absence of sunlight.

The robot is wirelessly controlled using the RF module. It has an encoder at the transmitter side and a decoder at the receiver i.e. on the robot. The output of the decoder decides the movement of the motors. The movement of the motors decides the direction of movement of the robot.

Spy camera is used to obtain video information. Hence used for surveillance and spying.
Spy camera is equipped with Infrared sensors and can be used during night.

Used for blocking cellular frequencies by generating and radiating noise. Noise signal lies in the same frequency band as the cellular signal to be jammed. GSM and CDMA signals can be blocked.

The IC 555 timer produces a sawtooth waveform which acts as a driver for the MRF947T1 transistor. MRF947T1 transistor produces sinusoidal waveform as output across collector. Radiating signal frequency is determined by the tuned circuit formed by C1 and L1,L2 in parallel.

GPS stands for Global Positioning System. It is used to find the exact location.

GPS can be used for tracking.

To spy on the enemy and their base in which human intervention is not preferred. GPS can be used to guide the robot to an unknown territory for surveillance.

We can make use of additional circuit which can detect the communication frequency of enemies and jam that frequency.
We can go one step ahead by including Geiger Counters.

The robot has been tested successfully in the presence and absence of bright sunlight. The cell jammer and the spy camera operation has been tested. All the parts are operating satisfactorily as per the requirement. The robot is ready to be used in the field.

Hence, the project has been successfully completed and tested.
