PURPOSE

The Company shall give priority for training activities both at sea and ashore Plans shall be made to prepare continuous and complementary training activities The training activities in the sector shall be monitored closely The job familiarization training shall be programmed

TECHNICAL DEPARTMENT
Prepares in cooperation with the General Manager the budget Arranges dry-docking and major and repairs, selects repair yards, workshops Assists ships in routine maintenance Identifies critical bench stock levels of spare parts of critical equipments
0PERATION DEPARTMENT
Assists the Chartering manager, in the commercial operation of the fleets Validates Risk Assessments on marine and operational matters Arranges in Cooperation with the Technical, General Manager and Chartering manager third party inspection Participates in the investigation and analysis of non conformities, accidents and near misses in order to assist in the identification of root cause, corrective and preventive actions
TRAINING SUBJECTS
Master and All Officers; Instructions to Masters Work Permits ISPS, SSO. ISPS Manual (Master and SSO) Current or to come into force new International and national rules and regulations
TRAINING SUBJECTS
All personnel; Onboard Drills, Ship/Shore Drills Cargo and Bunkering operations Details and main parts of the company's SMS Emergency situations and Safety On Board Risk Assessment, Preventive Actions and Management
FAMILIARIZATION
Personal survival techniques onboard Sufficient information and instruction Shipboard equipment Lifesaving and firefighting equipments Emergency, operation, watch duties and responsibilities
The Crew Evaluation Form can be used for crew appraisal All crew are allowed to review their report and to record their commends and training needs on it. Crew Evaluation Form in order to enable Office or Master to modify training program as necessary. Evaluation of Masters and Chief Engineer is made by the General Manager
