CHEMICAL TANKER OPERATION

IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATION SYSTEM FOR CHEMICAL TANKER FLEET


Manegement and operation of chemical tankers are more dangerous and difficult than other vessels. Chemical tankers requre specal attention mplementaton and operation systems comply with some nternatonal regulatons. According to ISO9001-ISO14001OHSAS18001-ISO50001,companies are to desgn competence,training,awereness clause.

PURPOSE

To sustain our commercial activities compliance with international tanker management standards by establishing the followings: Working Safety, Environment protection, Life and property safety, Health / Hygiene, Compliance with compulsory national and international rules / regulations

IMPLEMENTATION AND OPERATION


The established management department is to be divided sections and top of each section is to be determined. Determination and specification of each departments consist of : Human Resources Deparment Technical Department Operation Department

PERSONNEL POLICY
Train and employ personnel capable of implementing technical developments Take short, medium and long term measures to increase the training standard Establish and maintain Team Work concept within the Company. The criteria of recruitment, promotion and termination will be defined clearly

TRAINING POLICY
The Company shall give priority for training activities both at sea and ashore Plans shall be made to prepare continuous and complementary training activities The training activities in the sector shall be monitored closely The job familiarization training shall be programmed

Prepares in cooperation with the General Manager the budget Arranges dry-docking and major and repairs, selects repair yards, workshops Assists ships in routine maintenance Identifies critical bench stock levels of spare parts of critical equipments

0PERATION DEPARTMENT

Assists the Chartering manager, in the commercial operation of the fleets Validates Risk Assessments on marine and operational matters Arranges in Cooperation with the Technical, General Manager and Chartering manager third party inspection Participates in the investigation and analysis of non conformities, accidents and near misses in order to assist in the identification of root cause, corrective and preventive actions

Personnel performing work affecting conformity to product requirements shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills experience

Master and All Officers; Instructions to Masters Work Permits ISPS, SSO. ISPS Manual (Master and SSO) Current or to come into force new International and national rules and regulations

TRAINING SUBJECTS
All personnel; Onboard Drills, Ship/Shore Drills Cargo and Bunkering operations Details and main parts of the company's SMS Emergency situations and Safety On Board Risk Assessment, Preventive Actions and Management

FAMILIARIZATION
Personal survival techniques onboard Sufficient information and instruction Shipboard equipment Lifesaving and firefighting equipments Emergency, operation, watch duties and responsibilities

ONBOARD CONTINUOUS TRAINING


Understanding of shipboard operation On board training system is to be established Drills executed onboard are recorded and issued a drill training report Carried out monthly training that navigational and anchor watch

EVALUATION OF CREW MEMBERS

The Crew Evaluation Form can be used for crew appraisal All crew are allowed to review their report and to record their commends and training needs on it. Crew Evaluation Form in order to enable Office or Master to modify training program as necessary. Evaluation of Masters and Chief Engineer is made by the General Manager
