There are three types of task lists: General Task Lists Functional Location Task Lists Equipment Task Lists
A task list looks very much like a planned order, without dates!
General Task lists may have either numbers assigned by SAP or may have alphanumeric names. The length of the name field is 8 characters. (This may be useful for Medical Center WHUPOS).
There are separate transactions for Functional Location, Equipment, and General Task Lists.
This task list is being given the name TEST0613, rather than allowing SAP to assign a name.
As much long text as is required may be added. This is copied to the work order when it is created.
A task list already exists for this equipment. Select + to add another.
A description for the operation, the labor, and number of workers is entered.
From the component screen, the Component Selection button is chosen to select parts from the Bill of Material.
Notice that stock, non-stock, and text items may be chosen from the BOM. The Functional Location Task List is similar to the Equipment Task List.
This example will create a simple singlecycle maintenance plan based on the calendar (rather than a measurement point).
SAP may assign a number or one may be entered. This is a 12 character alphanumeric field.
The Call Horizon determines how far into the maintenance cycle the order should be generated. This is a monthly plan, so 90% will generate the order 3 days before it is due.
The Time-Key Date tells SAP to generate the order on the same day each month (rather than every 30 days).
Creating the Maintenance Plan assigns a cycle and some order parameters.
Click Start. SAP suggests the current date to start the plan.
Note: The first order is created at the END of the cycle. (If you want an order from a monthly plan tomorrow, start it 29 days in the past.)
