The following small but powerful set of principles can make teaching both more effective and more efficient, by helping us create the conditions that support student learning and minimize the need for revising materials, content, and policies.

Components of Teaching

Teacher
A person who delivers an educational program, assesses student participation in an educational program, and/or administers or provides consistent and substantial leadership to an educational program.

Learner
Someone who is learning something. We call them as the students or the pupils.

Learning Environment
The term learning environment encompasses learning resources and technology, means of teaching, modes of learning, and connections to societal and global contexts. The term also includes human behavioral and cultural dimensions, including the vital role of emotion in learning, and it requires us to examine and sometimes rethink the roles of teachers and students.

Professional qualities refer to the teachers knowledge of the subject matter to be taught, his understanding of psychological and educational principles, theories and concepts the pedagogical methods and strategies as well as his high regard and appreciation to the teaching profession.
