What is a GPS?
GPS = Geographic Position System
The GPS is a device that uses the satellites
to identify your position on the earth
Your position is defined by Latitude (N)
and Longitude (E)
It means that you are North of the Equator
and East of Greenwich

Getting Started
Remove the battery cover on the back of the
unit. Turn the D-ring counter-clock-wise and
pull away.
Insert batteries observing the polarity.
Reinstall the battery cover by turning the D-
ring turn.

Press and hold the POWER
button to turn the GPS on.
The GPS gets in connection
with the satellites

The main page displays the accuracy in the status window with the accuracy
under 10m you can start

to mark a current location as a
waypoint

Confirm the saving with
