INTRODUCTION

• The indian army is the largest and oldest


branch of the indian armed forces .

• The primary res possibility of the army is to


safeguard the geographical boundaries of the
country.
HISTORY

• The history of the indian sub content is long


brimming with lessons for the diligent.

• The inability to convert excellent theoretical


knowledge into usable military technology.
BRITISH ERA

• The main elements of British power was the


indian component of its army in India.
