Editing Photographs

Firstly I changed the exposure of

image along with he offset and
gamma correction. This lightened
some areas of the image and
darkened other places.
Next, I added a title to my fashion
spread and had the font in a
grunge/gritty font and so I named
the title Get Gritty.
Once I had the title done I typed up the
introduction to the fashion spread. For
this I wanted the font similar to the title
to convey my theme. Once I did that I
added the product information along
the side of the image.
My first intentions for the first image
was just to have it on a single page but
then I decided to have it as a double
page spread; I also moved the title in
the middle of the two pages.
In order to produce the double page
spread I copied the first image.
I then flipped the copied image and
moved it right next to the original image.
For the copied image, I changed the colour to black and white, then I altered
the levels of the black and white within the image in order for it to be the same
lighting as the original image.
For the next image I firstly changed the
curves in the image; Darkening the
image and enhancing the colours such
as the models hair.



Then I altered the vibrancy of the image
to soften the image and give it a
gloomy atmosphere to bring out the
essence of grunge.
Next I added a filter colour for the hair;
the models hair was a red/brown colour
and so I changed the colour of the hair
to a tinge of ginger.

After that I altered the levels of the
image to soften the image again.
Here I altered the selective colours
especially for the models hair to add
brightness in the image.

As the image became darker again, I
changed the brightness and contrast.
Finally I added the product information using a simple font.
Firstly I altered the vibrancy of the
image to bring out the clothing as it is
the main aspect.

After that I altered the shadows and
highlights as I wanted to keep the
grunge atmosphere.
Finally I added the product information using the same font as the previous
image.
Firstly I changed the hue and saturation of
the image; especially the pinks and the
blues (the tongue of the lion and the
jeans).

After that I changed the shadow and
highlights in the image to bring out the
colours more.
After that I changed the vibrancy of the
image as I still wanted to keep the grunge
atmosphere.

Following from that action I changed the
curves to make it more darker.
Finally I added the product information using the same font as the rest of the
images.
