Hi Students! This week you should be working on
the lessons & assignments on your course pace
chart for Week 7. Make sure you have the minimum
assessments completed by Friday to be on pace, but
you may work ahead if you choose. Make sure to
read through the lesson carefully, take notes, and
review the assignment directions & rubric before
submitting your work. HAVE A GREAT

and how to simplify algebraic

Module 2:
The student will be able to explain
the subtraction property of equality,
describe equivalent equations, and
explain how to solve inequalities with
examples..
Module 3:
The student will be able to explain
the difference between a mixed
number, proper fraction, improper
fraction, reciprocals and the rules
for operations involving fractions.
Module 4:
The student will be able to
describe the coordinate plane,
how to plot a point, compare
direct variation to a linear
relationship and be able to explain
and find slope.
Segment Exam:
Students will be able to
successfully complete all
remaining assignments and the
segment exams.

Module 5:
The student will be able to
understand and recall how to
solve proportions, percent
problems, percent of change,
simple interest and how to
determine whether fractions can
form a proportion.
Module 6:
The student will be able to
understand and recall geometric
terms, classifications of geometric
figures, how to solve similar &
congruent polygons, scales,
transformations and dilations.

Module 7:
The student will be able to
understand and recall geometric
terms, how to solve perimeter,
circumference, area, and surface
area of 3D figures.
Module 8:
The student will be able to
understand and recall theoretical
and experimental probability and
learning different sampling
methods.
Segment Exam:
Students will be able to
successfully complete all
remaining assignments and the
segment exams.
