The latest research findings, published by IMS Research, have confirmed Dedicated
Micros market position as the number one supplier of own brand Digital Video Recorders
(DVRs) in the global security sector and key local markets.
In the IMS Research report, issued in December 2006/7, ‘The World Market for CCTV
and Surveillance Equipment’, Dedicated Micros heads-up the DVR category with an
estimated worldwide market share of 6.9%,
In terms of regions, Dedicated Micros is particularly strong in EMEA (Europe, Middle
