Stage I
The unsorted waste (MSW) is delivered by trucks and dumped
into a large separation-dissolving tank, where bioprocess liquid is
already present to assist with the first hydro-mechanical
separation process.
Stage II: Hydro separation
The use of water in the separation process
eliminates odor, formed during
waste decomposition. With all water

The preliminary liquid-based waste
preparation and separation stage is
based on the principle that inorganic
materials, such as metals and glass,
have a specific weight that is greater
than water, while plastics and
biodegradable organic matter have a
specific weight that is equal to or less
than water.

Stage III: Mechanical Sorting
The ArrowBio Process recovered
up to 90% of the raw batch. After
separation of heavy and light fractions,
further segregation is done mechanically.

Stage IV: Biological Treatment
Organic wastes are subjected to
anaerobic digestion process, which
converts it into methane, soil conditioner and
water.

Willing Host Agreement to site a plant
Build a two-line mixed waste processing plant in any city with capacity for up to
800,000 tons per year.
Financing conditional on obtaining sufficient suitable waste from local and
neighboring municipalities (preferably +50% organic)
Secured minimum of fifteen years commitment for suitable residual wastes.
Offer a competitive tipping fee f $7.50 a ton at our gates. (This price is attached
to the inflation rate.)
Provide upwards of 80% diversion of municipal waste from landfill.
Take full responsibility for waste once received and manage final disposal of all

Arrowbio Process in Tel-Aviv, built
in 2003, was modernized in 2009 and
currently processes 60,000 tons of municipal
waste per year.
Sydney-Australia 2009
Department of WSN at Jacks Gully landfill,
built in 2009, using the ArrowBio process. It
processes 98,000 tons of waste per year.

Burkina Fasos waste crisis necessitates inspired solutions to divert more
waste from landfills

Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) of mixed waste is the best
solution for residential waste diversion

The ArrowBio process is the most environmentally friendly and cost
effective MBT technology available

Building a 800,000 tpy plant in any city of Burkina Faso solves waste
disposal issues for local and neighboring communities and provides them
with extremely high diversion rates

The country will become a model waste diversion community in West
Africa and beyond.
