Oriental granites Company Profile
Oriental Group started in a humble way in 1992 by Mr. H.S. Abdul
Hafeez Sayeed .
Oriental Granites, One of the companies under Oriental Group is
one of the leading manufacturers and exporters of Hassan
Green rough granite blocks from its own quarries in Merculi which
is 20 Kms from Hassan and Lingadahalli 105 Kms from Hassan
with annual production of over 6000CBM per annum
Oriental Group was first to introduce oriental Green, new colour to
international market from its own quarry with production of 1200
CBM per annum.
Today the company stands for its commitment of quality Granite
Blocks to meet international and Domestic Demands.

Organizational Hierarchy
Functional Departments - Production
Granite is quarried by either jet-piercing, blasting or sawing it from
the earth. Once in granite block form, they are transported to
production department which consists of heavy machinery to begin
the manufacturing process.
The production department consists of the polishing machines,
where in all the rocks that are mined were sent to, so that they can
be cut and shaped into desirable shape and size as per the
requirement.
Production department with respect to the seven production sub
functions, i.e. Mining & Processing, cutting, Granite Slabs, Granite
Polishing.

They use their own quarry for granite expansion.
Hassan Green Granite is special type of granite which is available in
this company only in India.
