Puebla was founded on April 16, 1531.
The first city built for spanish.
A multi-cultural place.
Puebla has European influence.
There are many indigenous communities.
A world heritage city.
Puebla has magnificent monuments of colonial architecture.
Puebla is the religious center of excellence. Is the first spanish settlement.
The Cathedral of the city of Puebla
One of the most
beautiful cathedrals
in the world.

The tallest towers in
the continent.

Guards an important
art collection like
baroque paintings
and sculptures,
including some of the
oldest pipe organs of
the country.



La Capilla del Rosario
Is considered as the
eighth wonder of the
new world. Also is
known as the Domus
Aurea or Golden
House.

Since its opening on
April 16, 1690, has
been seen as the one
of its kind, for its
symbolism and the
quality of its
decoration.

All the chapel is
decorated with gold
lamellas of 22 carats.



Santuario de Nuestra Seora de los
Remedios
The shrine was built
on the surface of the
Great Pyramid of
Cholula in 1594.

The style of the
church is
neoclassical.

The most spectacular
thing about this
temple is certainly
the view of the city.

Its a jewel of the
state.


The Star of Puebla
It was made to enjoy
the panoramic view of
the city (Its an
observation wheel).

Is the largest
observation wheel of
its kind. Has 80
meters high and a
weigh of 750 tons.
Also, has the most
advanced technology
and the most complete
safety standards.

Its located in the
most popular and
modern place of the
city, the Angelopolis
valley.


The Palafoxian Library
Is considered the
oldest library in
America.

It was the personal
library of Juan de
Palafox y Mendoza
when he lived in
Puebla.

Its the only library
that keeps the original
collection and
building.

It has been considered
like Memory of the
World by the
UNESCO.


Africam Safari
Is the most important
zoo-safari in Latin
America.

2,500 animals of 300
species live in semi-
freedom, like lions,
tigers, zebras and rhinos.

The tours are in private
cars or buses, and in the
night, night safaris are
organized .

It has been providing
conservation programs
and environmental
education since its
opening.

Its a place to enjoy
breathtaking views of
the city,

The Museum of Non-
Intervention in the
fort of Loreto,
Museum of
Anthropology,
Guadalupe fort,
Planetarium, Museum
of Natural History
and Exhibitor Center
are part of this
complex.


Amparo Museum
The museum shows
three great ages in the
history of Mexico:
Pre-Hispanic times,
the colonial and
modern times.

The building was built
in 1538, and it had
used as a hospital and
a school before to be a
museum.

Guards an important
collection of pieces
related about the
history of our state,
from the pre-history
until the actual days.

Barrio del Artista
An nook with a
Baroque fountain
adorned with
sculptures, like "The
Genesis".

You can take a nice
walk for the workshops
of painters and artists
working in the public
eye.

paint or draw or take
a delicious coffee.



Garibaldi: A Food Market.
Here, the chefs offer a
variety of typical
dishes, like mole
poblano, chalupas &
cemitas.

Its one of the oldest
markets in the
country, and also is
considered the most
visited food market by
tourists in the state.

Its cheap and the
food is delicious,
traditional and it
always has had a good
ambient.
