An EMOTION related to one's psychological

interpretation of having been offended,

wronged, or denied and a tendency to react
through retaliation

A STRONG feeling of annoyance, displeasure,
or hostility
Anger is mentioned a lot of times in the Bible
Found already in Genesis
Garden of Eden and the Story of Cain and Abel

Anger is a Temptation
What follows is what we call SIN
Ephesians 4:26-31
"In your anger do not sin": Do not let the sun go down
while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a
foothold. He who has been stealing must steal no
longer, but must work, doing something useful with
his own hands, that he may have something to share
with those in need. Do not let any unwholesome talk
come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for
building others up according to their needs, that it
may benefit those who listen. And do not grieve the
Holy Spirit of God, with whom you were sealed for the
day of redemption. Get rid of all bitterness, rage and
anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of
malice.

James 1:19-20
My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone
should be quick to listen, slow to speak and
slow to become angry, for man's anger does
not bring about the righteous life that God
desires.

It pollutes your character (Proverbs 29:11)
All of us struggle with the temptation to be
angry at others. Some of us have been the
victims of very cruel and unjust behavior.
However, our anger must be dealt with, soon.
To continue to dwell on the injustices of the
past affects our present and future.
Anger can hurt others!
The more we get angry, the more others get
angry as well (Proverbs 29:22)

Refrain from anger and turn from wrath; do not
fret--it leads only to evil. For evil men will be
cut off, but those who hope in the LORD will
inherit the land.

quick-tempered man displays folly.
