1. INTRODUCTION

Job Posting : - Job Posting facility allows you to post your


requirements on Naukri site as an advertisement, to receive the responses
directly from the interested candidates.

and also Shows the recently posted jobs with their number of responses.

Designation:
1. Phrase designation appropriately to attract attention of the relevant candidates.
Example instead of Developer you may use : Software Engineer Mainframe
or Developer (Mainframe) etc.
2. Avoid using abbreviations. Example : Use Project Manager or Team Leader
instead of PM or TL
Job Description
1. Focus specifically on Job Responsibilities & Duties.
2. Elaborate the role expectations to facilitate clear understanding.
3. Better description helps in soliciting quality responses.
Functional Area, Role & Industry:
1. Use Accurate Functional Area, Role & Industry for better responses. If desired
option is not available, please select the closest option or choose Others.

Keywords
1. Use synonyms, variants or alternative words for the designation & role and
Technical & functional skills. For example : Software Developer, Programmer,
Software Analyst, Software Architect, Mainframe, Cognos.

Location of Job Postings
1. Select upto 9 locations in total for Domestics and/or International Locations
2. Please note : A Set of 3 Locations would utilize 1 Job Posting. Eg 4 to 6 Locations
would consume 2 Jobs, 7 to 9 Locations would consume 3 Jobs.
Compensation details
1. Give a realistic range of salary with minimum and maximum. Optimistic figures can
cause difficulty in closing positions due to salary constrains and pessimistic figures
are likely hamper quality of responses.
2. You may choose to hide the salary range details in the job posting by checking
option & provide description of compensation. Example : best in the industry,
explain variable earning potential (incentive)/ Stock Options etc., if applicable.
Profile Description
1. Focus on desired skills.
2. Elaborate on technical or functional expertise.
3. Describe Prior experience, Soft skills, etc .
4. Differentiate Must have (mandatory) & Preferred skills, expertise or
experience.

Qualification Selection
1. Graduation Not Required :- Select this to target those who are not graduates. If
qualification is not a constrain for the position then choose both Graduation Not
Required & Any Graduate .
2. If you wish to target specifically Graduates alone or Diploma, then select them in
isolation.
Similarly for Post Graduation as well. PPG Qualifications(Ph.D. , M.Phil.) have
been added in the job posting form

Company Name
1. If you intend to maintain confidentiality of the employers identity, you can
describe the company in words that reflects its position in the Industry
Reputed MNC Bank, SEI CMM Level 5 Company, Fortune 500 Company, etc.
Company Description
1. Describe company , products & services, size, nature of business, work
environment, values, etc to create interest among jobseekers.
Company Website :
1. Mention company website/careers site address for candidates to know more
about the employer.

Manage Response
1. E-mail: Select the e-mail ID/add the e-mail ID, where you would like to receive the
responses.
a) Individual Responses: Receive individual email for every response. For eg., if
50 candidates have applied in a day, you will receive 50 mails.
b) Daily Summary: Receive one summary email with the number of responses
received in the previous 24 hrs every morning.
You can also check the responses in Response Manager.
2. Walk-in :This is used if you are conducting a walk-in. You will not receive any online
response in this case.
Recruiters can now add Date and Time to their Walk-in Jobs
Share the Job & its Responses
Users would now be able to view only those jobs and responses in Manage Jobs &
Response manager, which have been either posted by them or have been shared by
other users (within a company).
Job Reference Code
Users can give different ref. code to different postings to distinguish between the
responses in the same e-mail ID.
Recruiter Contact Details:
Provide contact details for candidates to reach you.

Logo
1. Upload the company Logo with the job posting.
Recurring Refresh
1. This feature allows the users to set automatic Job Refreshes at predefined
time intervals
without visiting the site.
2. The Users can set the Recurrence Pattern to Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly
Refreshes and can also define the Expiry for the Automatic Refreshes (i.e.
after a certain no. of Refreshes or a particular Date).
Note: Every Refresh will consume the Job Postings inventory.

4. Manage Jobs & Responses


The new Manage Jobs interface is now live! now which will provide the convenience of managing
job postings (edit, refresh, delete, broadcast) and viewing responses on one single page.

Next Refresh date will be shown along with Job Posing


There will be a Jobs posted by dropdown with the values; All, You, Others.
All will be the default value. Selecting You will show all jobs posted by the logged-in sub user
and selecting Others will show all jobs that have been posted (and shared with you) by other
sub users.

SAVED JOBS: Jobs saved by users can be posted from Saved jobs.

JOB DRAFTS: Autosaved Drafts has been introduced to ensure that information entered on
Job Forms is not lost in case of network errors or session time-out.
The job will be saved after every two minutes, automatically

Features

i) AUTOFILL
The feature allows you to select an existing active job to automatically fill the
details for a new Job Posting.
You can select from a list of 100 most recently posted jobs to fill the new job.
The feature is available in both the Job Posting forms . A User can select a job to
Autofill and the form would be automatically populated with the field values from
that previously posted job.

ii) CUSTOMIZE SUBJECT LINE


It allows you to select various parameters you wish to include in the subject line
for different job profiles. It will appear only when you selects email as the
preferred mode for receiving applications.
Customize option allows you to select 4 out of 6 candidate criterias. These are
experience, location, designation, company, CTC, industry.

iii) RESUME MATCH-TAGS


These are pre-defined tags that can be added to the subject line to display which
parameter the candidate is matching on. We have tags for Experience, current
location, preferred location, industry, education. This will enable you to set better
filters and do an advanced segregation on the basis of candidate profile which is
not possible currently.

iv) Personalized Application Filters:


Recruiters can set their Personalized Application Filters for each job
Only those Applications that match these filters will be sent on your email
id(s).

The filter values as specified by you will be used to screen and send
only matching responses to their email.
Filters will not apply to unregistered applications to your job.

Filters can be set on one or more of the following six fields Location,
functional area , industry, education, exp and CTC

These Filters will not be visible to Job seekers.
