Key duties/responsibilities for quality specialist


1. Develop procedures for testing of repaired/returned parts, in house
systems, vendor parts management, and inventory levels
2. Develop KPIs and implement continuous process improvements to drive
decisions for parts repair, inventory operations
3. Test and repair of all incoming and outgoing systems, PCB''s, peripherals,
monitors, etc. prior to material disposition
4. Establish and maintain good quality standards and improve overall quality
of systems and parts within Axess inventory
5. Ensure proper packaging, using static bags when necessary and labeling
using correct manufacturer part numbers, descriptions, serial numbers,
and revision levels when needed
6. Develop and complete QC processes and procedures to ensure safety and
quality of all probe repair processes
7. Collaborate with Director of Operations to assure production processes
are continually monitored and implement any modifications
8. Lead organization into a successful 3rd party certification
9. Develop and maintain a company Quality Manual for Axess Ultrasound

Key job qualifications for quality specialist


1. Bachelors degree is required
2. Minimum of 2 years of experience of experience working in a business
environment, quality focus is highly desired
3. Experience with continue improvement processes and monitoring
compliance and regulations
4. Computer skills including Microsoft applications
5. Expertise with ISO certification highly desired
6. Ability to travel including overnight travel (up to 10%)
7. Experience working with hand tools, test equipment, etc.
