About Mc Donalds
McDonald's was started by two brothers, Richard

McDonald in California, US in the year 1937.

and Maurice

Ray Kroc, distributor for milkshake machines, expressed interest in

the business, and he finalized franchising a deal for with the


McDonald brothers in 1954.

In 1961, he bought out the McDonald brothers share for $2.7 million

and changed the name of the company to McDonald's Corporation.


In 1965, McDonald's went public

MC Donalds history India:


Entered in India 1996.

Indias 50-50 JV partnership between MC Donalds Corp. of USA &

two Indian businessman Amit Jatia and Vikram Bakshi.


Trained extensively with their Indian management team in

Indonesia and USA before launch.


The entire menu was changed.
90% of MC Donalds business is

owned and run by independent franchisees in India.

Transaction Processing System (TPS)
First transaction happens when two people make an exchange, and

collecting data about it called transaction processing, so transaction


processing is collecting, storing, modifying, and retrieving the

transactions of an organization.
Transaction system is important to answer routine questions, and it

helps to conduct business such as payroll, employee record keeping or


paying an employee.

It's important to store the data of the transaction save and protected

because transaction generally involves an exchange of money which is


critical to any organization.

Decision support system is used to model data and make
quality decision based on the data , making the right
decision is usually based on the quality of the data and
one's ability to analyze the data , Decision Support Systems

are usually computer applications with a human


component.

At first McDonalds began as a small restaurant, selling foods to

customers , the business expanded slowly ,then McDonalds

analyze the market well to come with opportunity, as we know


we live in the time of technology , so McDonalds thought of
providing wireless services , so the company gather information
about the customer usage of wireless services , length of stay and
sales level , then the decision support system analyze the data to
come up with the decision of providing wireless service in their
restaurant

Refrigerated trucks with multi-temperature facility divided into 3 zonesfreezer,chiller, and ambient to ferry product demanding varying temperatures from
supplier location to the distribution centre.

zones , as are the trucks for storing products. With freezer at
0 degree F to 33 degree F , chiller at 33 degree F to 40 degree F,
and room temperature.

Customer relationship management


McDonald's India-West is starting a "Customer Relationship

Manager Programme" ("the programme").


The programme is specially designed for McDelivery customers

who place orders through McDelivery on the McDelivery Number


i.e. 66 000 666 ("McDelivery Number") at McDelivery restaurants
operated by Hardcastle Restaurants Private Limited ("HRPL").
The programme is : The

programme shall be operational at all McDelivery

restaurants located in the cities and operated by HRPL.

To participate in the programme, a customer has to call on

McDelivery Number and has to purchase via McDelivery any

food product at a regular menu price ("the order").


In the programme buying/purchasing any food product at

regular menu price means buying/purchasing, via McDelivery,


any Burger, Fries, Drink, Dessert, Meal Combos (as listed on
the Menu Board) (including Extra Value Meal ("EVM"), Family

Meal, Happy Meal and Breakfast Meal) that HRPL offers.

On purchase of any food product, via McDelivery, a customer shall

get a free offer coupon ("offer coupon A") along with the order.
Offer coupon A entitles a customer to get during the programme

period, via McDelivery, a McChicken burger or a McVeggie burger

absolutely free on his/her next purchase of an EVM via


McDelivery.
That means if a customer calls on McDelivery Number for the first

time, he/she will get offer coupon A along with his/her order,
which offer coupon.
