Statement of research problem


Managers are integral part of human element of a organization.
Because they are the organizational members who tell others
what to do and how to do it. In ordinary definition, managers
are the people who manage business. Here it tried to focus on
different types of manager of Agrani bank. And as a manager
what are the duties and responsibility of them.

Objective of the study


Agrani bank believes in its uncompromising commitment to fulfill
its customer needs and satisfaction and to become their first
choice in banking. Agrani bank intends to pay the way for a new
era in banking that upholds and epitomizes its vaunted marques
YOUR TRUSTED PARTNER.

Scope and limitation


The scope of the Assignment includes organizational structure,
background, objective, function and performance of Agrani bank
as a whole. The main part covers description of various types
of managers and there duties and responsibility.Lmitation is Lack
of experience, knowledge, information and times.

History of Agrani Bank Limited


Agrani Bank Limited, a leading commercial bank with
866 outlets strategically located in almost all the
commercial areas throughout Bangladesh,came into being
in 1972 immediately after the emergence of Bangladesh as
an independent state. Over assets and liabilities of the erst
while Habib Bank ltd and commerce Bank ltd. functioning
in the East Pakistan. The authorized capital of the Bank is
Tk. 800 crore

SWOT Analysis

Strength
We found the Bank flows three steeps managerial policy.
To become a manager they have to passed three steps usually.
In previous As it was a government owner Bank, it had to play
many valuable role to the society.

The Bank become a privet limited Bank, so the


expectation of employee is very ambitious.
Threat

Weakness
Lack of governmental monitoring and take caring.
Lack of employee training system.
Lack of the facilities of employees.
Lack of manpower.

Opportunity
As its the old, well known and reputed bank it
could easily achieve the trust of people.
About 866 outlets strategically located in almost
all the commercial areas throughout Bangladesh
which makes easy for bank to come closer with
the people of all stages and area.
As now its become a privet Ltd. Bank, it is
become easy for the bank to serve its Clint in
more effective and modern way.

The list of Agrani Banks Managers duties and responsibilities is


too long as they manage the Bank to achieve its goal. TheTop
level managers Agrani Bank got appointed from the Board of
government of the Bank. the duration of there service life is
57years. but the managers of Agrani Bank got a very limited
facilities from the Bank. They hope they could serve much more to
there client than previous time.

In ordinary definition, managers are the people who manage


a business. They are the integral part of an organization.
They established what has been done and what must be
done. The management process includes planning and
decision making, organizing, leading and controlling as the
basic job of a manager. According to the level or area within
an organization, all managers must play certain roles and
certain responsibility to accomplish organizations objective.
As one of the wide spread and reputed Bank of Bangladesh
Agrani Bank facing challenges to compete in the Banking
world. To conduct there operation smoothly different level of
managers of Agroni Bank are playing the main role

Manager should be highly qualified to manage the


organization.
Managerial roles have to modify with the changing
condition.
Increasing technological and structural facilities.
Providing a training to lower level manager to develop there
managerial skill.
To achieve managerial objectives organization must have to
follow the proper managerial procedure.
Government should make a regulatory group to monitoring
the actual performance of the bank.
Relationship between bank and Clint should be improve as
they are the main part of bank business
