Customer Planning Groups, or CPGs, cluster together a number of customers to make
planning easier. Different criteria can be used to cluster customers, such as all
customers belonging to the same banner or all customers of a defined regional area.
Indirect Trade
Retailers that purchase a manufacturers product through a secondary supplier (i.e., a
wholesaler or distributor)
Direct Trade
Retailers that purchase products directly from the manufacturer.
Return On Investment
Measures how well invested assets generate profits during a period. ROI is the
comparison of the net incremental margin generated by the promotional uplift in the
incremental cost of the event. ROI is expressed as: ROI = Net Incremental

The RFC protocol is the standard SAP interface for communication between
an SAP system and other SAP or third-party compatible systems over TCP/IP
or CPI-C connections.
RFCs can be associated with SAP software and ABAP programming and
provide a way for an external program (written in languages such as PHP,
ASP, Java, .NET or C and C++) to use data returned from the server.
