SUMMARY

What is our idea?

TRADE WITH YELLOW GREASE
We want to convince restaurants, pubs, hotels in
Cyprus to recycle used vegetable oil! We will buy it
and sell it to companies in Europe wich use
vegetable oil. We want to collect used cooking oil
which has been used for food manufacture or
service and can be derived from a range of
vegetable sources rape, palm, soya, sunflower
and is usually of mixed composition.
Used cooking oil can be refined into different types
ofbiofuelsused for power generation and heating.

Objectives:
Convince our suppliers in Cyprus to store
used vegetable oil in provided cylinders
Buy the used oil
Sell it to companies abroad that recycle it

out to produce avegetable oil fuel.
Opportunities for businesses and consumers

increased.Used cooking oil can be refined into

generation and heating.A significant benefit is that
biofuels derived from recycled cooking oil typically
burn clean,have a low carbon content and don't
produce carbon monoxide. This helps communities
to reduce their carbon footprintsThe recycling of

Out of 20 people, who were
asked personally, only 4 knew of a
possibility to recycle used oil.
Although, they couldnt give more
details about it, because of the lack
of knowledge.

Yellow grease features:

Free Fatty Acids- FFA max 15%

Moisture and Impurities- MIU 2%, often with 1% max
water. (MIU of 2% or below is commonly referred to as
"clean and dry")
FAC (color)- yellow
Titre (melting temperature)- 30 degrees Celcius
Pesticides and PCB testing/analysis may also be required
for animal feed market.

Yellow Grease uses:

Processing into biofuels (svo or
biodiesel) often referred to as biostock.
Traditional use is for blending into
animal feed for cattle and poultry as
yellow grease (only in-spec yellow
grease with FFA 15% or below and MIU
<2% is accepted in feed markets)
Additional uses include dust
suppression (roads, construction and
drilling), and as furnace and boiler fuel.

From suppliers to our place:

We will collect the oils with a vacuum pump. Fat

andgreasedrippings from grills and ovens however, form a gel or
solidify at room temperatures and are consequently harder topick
up. Our specially designed equipment allows us tocollectboth types
ofoilsafely and efficiently, regardless of temperature or weather.

We will provide durable containers, plus locks and keys, to

store theUsed Cooking Oilbetweenpick-ups.

Our computerized dispatch program ensures that youroilwill

be picked up on a timely reliable schedule.

We will hire only drivers experienced professionals.

We will be fully insured to protect all parties should an

accidentaloilspill or damage occur when theoilis being picked up.

We will also provide initial response assistance to contain and

clean up a minor oilspill until further help arrives if required.
