1. - PYRAMIDS:
There are more than 80 pyramids in
Egypt they were built 2600 BC 1500 B.C and they are located near the Nile River. Giza is the modern name of the great necropolis of Cairo, it is located on the suburbs of the Egyptian capital . They take up an area of 2000 m2 and in this area you find the Sphinx and the three Pyramids Cheops, Chephren and Mycerinus, which are the most precious Egypt icon's . You can visit the gallery of Cheops and Chephren. Cheops Pyramid is the only one of the seven wonders of antiquity preserved.
2.- CAIRO:
It is the capital of Egypt. Attractions of
Cairo are: a) Khan al-Khalili market: It is one of the largest markets in the world, many tourists visit this market. This is a great place for exotic perfume bottles, Arabic clothing and other souvenirs. b) Egyptian Museum of Antiquities: You can find more than 100 000 artefacts. There are 107 rooms. The most popular attraction is the Tutankhamun Gallery. c) Other attractions include the Pyramids of Giza (mentioned in advanced) and Old Cairo.
3.- ABU SIMBEL:
It was built to worship the Amun Ra
and Ptah-Horajti gods and to the deified Rameses. The facade of the temple is 33 meters high by 38 meters wide and is guarded by four seated statues. All statues represent Ramesses II, seated on a throne with the double crown of Upper and Lower Egypt
4.KARNAK TEMPLES:
It is a big complex and has three
temples , the most famous of them is Amun.Temple It is construction lasted 1300 years.
5: LUXOR TEMPLE:
The modern city of Luxor is the site
of the famous city of Thebes, (or the city of 100 doors). A row of sphinxes line the entrance to Karnak Temple. The most famous section of these temples is the Great Hypostyle hall.
6: OASIS OF SIWA:
The area is famous for its
dates and olives. It is one of the most beautiful landscapes and waters of Egypt. It was the most inaccessible oasis until recently. It lies 60 feed below sea level.
7.- Nubia Museum of Aswan:
One of the unavoidable visits of
Aswan is the Nubian Museum, opened in 1997, is one of the best archaeological sites in Egypt, with wonderful Pharaonic antiquities like the Colossus of Ramses II Osirian lobby, belonging to the temple today submerged Gerf Hussein. It has an ethnographic section showing life in the region before the dam that complements the villages reconstructed Lakeside.
9.- ALEXANDRIA:
The best places to see are Pompey's Pillar, Bibliotheca
Alexandrina, Alexandria National Museum, King Farouk Palace and the Roman Amphitheatre.
LEY OF THE KINGS AND VALLEY OF THE QUEENS
The Valley of the Kings is located on
the west bank of the Nile at Thebes. There are 62 tombs in the valley. The Valley of the Kings was where alos Pharaohs were buried kings and dynasties XVIII, XIX, and XX .. Is East Valley which most tourists visit and in which most of the tombs of New Kingdom pharaohs can be found.
In the Valley of the Queens were
buried queens and princes of the dynasties XVIII, XIX, and XX some of earlier times. Is located southwest of the Valley of the Kings.
10.- SHARM EL :SHEIKH
The best places to see are - Sinai
Mountain, Na'ama Bay, Tiran Island, Terrazzina Beach and white lagoon. Other attractions of Egypt include the White Desert Hurghada and Felucca on the Nile
