victories.

Another person to mention is Merlin, a legendary figure

who is said to have constantly advised the King.

The historical basis for the King Arthur legend has been
debated by many persons. One thought, citing theHistoria
Brittonum (History of the Britons) sees Arthur as a RomanoBritishleader who fought against the invadingAngloSaxonssometime in the late 5th century.

about theRound Table , whichisKing Arthur's
famedtablein theArthurian legend, around which he and
hisKnightscongregate. As its name suggests, it has no
head, implying that everyone who sits there has equal
status.

especially after his death , many artists.
As a result , there are many poems , novels
and tales about King Arthur , such as the
novel of T.H. White : The Once and Future
King.

However , you can also find a film named King Arthur ,


whichhas been launched in 2004. It starsClive Owenas
thetitle character , and the producers claim to present an
accurate version of theArthurian legends, supposedly
inspired by new archaeological findings.

The accuracy of these claims is subject to debate, but


the film is unusual in representingArthuras aRomanofficer
rather than amedievalknight. It was shot in
England,Ireland, andWales.

Surprisingly or not, King Arthur also inspired
the creation of two role playing war-games .
The first one was launched in 2009 , and the
second in 2012.
