famous Romanian
composer in Moldova has
been elected a Fellow of
the Academy of Sciences
( 1992). He currently lives
and works in Moscow

He has to his credit several


cantatas , including " White
Rainbow " ; "Spring mankind " ;
" Human voice " ; symphonic
poems such as "The heart of
the world " . He composed a
symphony , chamber
instrumental pieces , romances
, symphonic poem "Mother "
cycle for orchestra and Modern

quartets , songs entertainer ( "
My Beautiful Forests " "Song
about my city " , "I believe in
your eyes ", " flowers of Love" ,

Political activity
Politically, Eugen Doga was a member of the CPSU in 1976. He was
elected as a deputy of the Supreme Soviet of the MSSR people in
legislatures IX - XI , and as member of the first Parliament of Moldova
He also was a member of the Board of the Union of Composers of the
USSR and the Union of Composers of Moldova , vice president ofUCM

Awards and decorations

In 1972 received the "Silver Shell" International Film Festival in San


Sebastian film music of fiddlers, and in 1976, "Golden Shell" for the
soundtrack of Satra. In 1997 was awarded the Order of the Republic,
and in 2000 the Order of the Star of Romania in the rank of officer.
In 2008 he received the Order of Merit to the Fatherland (for Russia)
[5] Dinamo Romania Order in rank of Commander [5], Medal "Mihai
Eminescu" Gold Medal "Man of the twentieth century" (USA, 1998).
On 30 December 1992, the composer Eugen Doga was elected a
Fellow of the Academy of Sciences. Also, the International Institute
of Cinematography in Moscow awarded the title of Doctor Honoris
Causa.
The year 2007 was declared by the Moldovan authorities as "Eugen
Doga Year".
On 26 August 2008 President Vladimir Voronin awarded the State
Prize in 2008 and the title "Laureate of the State Prize" in 2008 for
outstanding contribution to the development of national and world
musical art. ii Romanian national. On March 26, 2014, President
Traian Bsescu Eugen Doga decorated with the National Order
"Faithful Service" in rank of Grand Officer
