The capacity of platforms will assume in all instances the worst case scenario for the alighting and detraining of trains in a station. A center
platform will assume two 100% capacity trains detraining and evacuating from the platform at any given time. A side platform assumes one
100% capacity train detraining and evacuating from the platform at any given time.
