The Navigators
To Know Christ and to Make Him
Known
The Navigators is an international,
interdenominational Christian ministry that helps
people grow in Jesus Christ as they navigate
through life.
We spread the Good News of Jesus Christ by
establishing life-on-life mentoring---or discipling--relationships with people, equipping them to make
an impact on those around them for Gods glory.

2 Timothy 2:2

And the things you have heard me say in the

presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable
men who will also be qualified to teach others.

Matthew 9:35-38
Jesus went through all the towns and villages,
teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the
good news of the kingdom and healing every
disease and sickness. When he saw the crowds,
he had compassion on them, because they
were harassed and helpless, like sheep without
a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples,
The harvest is plentiful but the workers are

"Faith Builders is a systematic program of in-depth spiritual

formation specifically designed for those longing to discover a
deeper connection to God and His Word. Committed
participants will focus on spiritual self-discovery, spiritual
practices, discernment and a complete a Personal Plan for
Ministry. The focus is on spirituality as the basis for leadership
and participants will discover authentic ways to engage in
spiritual leadership in our congregation and in our
community.

EDGE Staff
As a ministry of The Navigators, EDGE Corps is a one or two
year opportunity for recent college graduates and young
adults to communicate the love of Christ on a college campus
by intentionally investing in the lives of college students. In
return, they receive mentoring and training that will impact
them for a lifetime.
College is a critical time, and this generation of students faces
more moral, ethical and spiritual decisions than any
generation before it. As they wrestle with family breakdown,
hopelessness and moral drift, students are in the midst of
making major life decisions. EDGE Corps is an opportunity
to reach out to those on campus who dont yet know Christ.

Responsibilities
will be:
Administer pastoral
care to those involved in The Navigators
ministry, through one-to-one mentoring and small group Bible
studies.

Develop and design seminars, retreats and workshops for spiritual

formation.

Minister directly to those who show spiritual interest by discussing

spiritual topics, sharing life experiences, studying the Bible, praying
together and interacting over life issues.

Equip student leaders through teaching, training, mentoring,

coaching and counseling.

Invite and recruit students to the ministry by attracting newcomers,

planning outreach events (including sports, recreational activities,
hosting students in homes, cookouts, moving freshmen into the
dorms, etc.), and ensuring appropriate follow up with all visitors.
