integrate social and environmental concerns in
their business operations and interactions with
their stakeholders.
The philosophy behind CSR is to 'give back to
the people what corporate industries have
earned from them.

A properly implemented CSR concept can bring


along a variety of competitive advantages, such
as enhanced access to capital and markets,
increased sales and profits, operational cost
savings, improved productivity and quality,
efficient human resource base, improved brand
image and reputation, enhanced customer
loyalty, better decision making and risk
management processes.

FINDINGS

Health check up by medical facility is going


routinely and in proper manner.
Jaypee cement plant gives compensation to
pollution effected people.
Roads are repaired after certain period of time.
Jaypee cement plant provides educational loan
facility to poor class student for their further
studies.

CONCLUSION

Neighboring villages has much problems of sanitation


and hygienic. Factory does not pay proper attention
towards making neighboring villages hygienic, sulabh
toilet are not proper cleanness.
There are no proper health checkup is made by factory
even malaria control operations does not going properly.
Much problems of drinking water in neighboring village
hand pumps are proper repaired but there is problem of
drinking water.

SUGGESTIONS

The existing CSR activities are looked after by the HR


department by their regular employees. Since personnel of HR
department mostly remain busy with their routine jobs of IR
and other in house welfare activities, there should be a
separate team to implement the CSR functions. By this the CSR
activities can be implemented more effectively.
More qualified professionals should be involved for CSR
programme. The experience of HR personnel and the expertise
of professionals can make the programme more successful.
The scope of participation and involvement of more
community leaders, religious heads and local persons having
in-depth knowledge about the customs and rituals of various
communities will make the programme more successful.
