TheUST Miguel de Benavides Libraryor

formerly calledUST Central Library is the

central library of theUniversity of Santo
Tomas. The Library has been in continuous
service and even antedates the existence of
the University itself. The University Library can
be considered as the oldest in the country

Objectives:
To design a university library that centrally

and systematically pursuits academic

excellence in terms of research and study.
To design a university library that aesthetically
in coherence with the university building
structures.
To design a university library that embodied
bioclimatic principles to attain maximum
comfort with less carbon footprint.
