Attention
1.There are different of SVC Module working according to Model series. Before Working, Please Refer to Guide.
2. On the way Replacing SVC Module, Pay attention not to occur Dust between Glass Filter & Module
3.To prevent scratch on Cabinet & Glass filter , Put soft cloth on Ground after that, Replace SVC Module.
4. It do not changed circuit process.
(All connector is common with respect to before.)
5. Remove the Protective Film in front of Glass in case of Clear Module.

1. Title : During replacing 42,50 PQ and 60PB, PC SERIES SVC MODULE, apply the improved cable
2. Applied Model : 42PQ##, 50PQ##, 60PB##, 60PC##
3. Reason : To improve the length of cable between PSU and Main B/D
4. Symptom: Unable to reach and assemble cable between PSU and Main B/D
5. Cause:
The lack of cable length between PSU and Main B/D can make the cable unreach.
The newly developed alternative module has PSU to deal with the range of Vs voltage.
The location of EAD42065908 which is in EAJ60987624 and EAJ60868318 can be P1008.
The location of 6631900012G in EAJ35776108 can be P1005.
6. How to apply the improved cable

7. After module replacement and how to check

1) Check the cable length between Vsc(Main) B/D & PSU.
2) If the cable length is short and cant be assembled, order the each modified cable part number
SVC parts for newly modified cables were sent to each SVC subsidiaries in 28th FEB for SVC buffer.
3) From April in 2011, the two cables will be added in module production.

The data of issue: 2010.11.22
1. Title : During replacing 42,50 PB,PC1/2 SERIES SVC MODULE [42X4A, 50X4P], applying 10 in power.
2. Applied Model : 50PB2DR, 50PC1DRW, 42PB2DR, 42PC1DRW
3. Reason : To improve Power Protection, 10 in P1003, power should be applied.
4. Symptom: After module replacement and power on, Relay power is off.
5. Cause: From Vsc(Main) B/D to PSU, Module 5V off
6. How to improve
: To improve Power Protection, 10 in P1003, power should be applied.
(the power in origin SET doesnt have problem. It is because there is Pull-up circuit(resistor).
7. After module replacement and resistor, how to check
1) Check the Vsc(Main) B/D whether it is normal or not.
2) After module replacment and resistor additioin, check the normal condition or not.

* How to apply the 10 in P1003, PSU

: In the PSU of newly developed SVC model
,10k resistor should be applied between
P1003 connector
3rd Pin(STBY5V) and 7th Pin(Module 5VOn)
* Caution (The electrical short)

: the tape should be applied not to get
electrical short of below pattern of PSU

The working guide for the protective film of Clear Filter

Clear Filter Module
Purpose
: If the protective film is not detatched from module
the picture is dimmer than usual and Bar Code label of protective
film during watching TV can be detected (refter to the photo)
Cause
: After changing PDP module, the protective film was not detatched from module
(* working Error)
Working Guide
: If PDP module is applied Clear Filter, the protective film should be detatched
before replacing PDP module
