BLOCK MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Grouping the routine task cards according to the time interval

prescribed in the maintenance program as check A ,C and D.
Advantages: Simplifies planning & scheduling of work packages,
Adequate time to perform modifications.
Disadvantages
Variable manpower requirements, Longer grounding time

PROGRAM DEVELOPMENT
MAINTENANCE CHECK PACKAGING
PHASED MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Schedule portions of its heavy maintenance tasks equally over

the appropriate number of C-Checks.
Advantages: Even out the maintenance workload over time,
shorten the length of each period of down-time.
Disadvantages: Increases planning and scheduling , Limited
time for completion of modifications.
