remember the words and help
develop auditory memory skills.

This is an important skill as it is
one step towards learning to

to enhance phonemic awareness. It can
be used as means to teach phonemes.
While children read, sing, play and act
out nursery rhymes together you are
conveying to your children that sounds
make words and that words are fun
