The economic success of a nation is largely determined by internal
factors. But external influencers both ideas and events can affect
economic performance significantly as well. Indeed, as Indonesias
recent experience demonstrates only too well, some external shocks
can inflict great damage. And lesson can be learned from the
experience of the countries as well. This paper will focus on the
interaction between external influences and domestic economic
management in Indonesia
Kesuksesan ekonomi suatu bangsa sangat bergantung pada faktorfaktor eksternal. Namun, pengaruh-pengaruh eksternal baik

negara-negara lain. Makalah ini akan difokuskan pada7 interaksi antara

Text 1.Par 7
First, the global development agenda has continued to widen and has
become increasingly complex. Indeed, the 1997-98 economic crisis in
Asia itself served to encourage a further broadening of the agenda
because many observers argued that the weakness of civil society
institutions in the region, and especially in Indonesia, had contributed
to the crisis (Stern: 2003).

(Stern: 2003)
