Focus more on Section C, Paper 2
Their writing must have similes and
idioms, proverbs and new words
Same exercises will be given 2 or 3
times
BUT the pupils must increase their
marks even though 1 mark.
IF they couldnt increase, they have
to do it again.
Group 1(Potential A)
Section A COMPULSORY to write
1 simple, 2 compound and 2 complex
sentences
Or
1 simple, 3 compound and 1 complex
sentences
Marks must be 8 9
Section B COMPULSORY to get 10
marks for filling in the table and 4
marks for giving the reasons.
Group 2 (Potential B)
Focus more on Section C, Paper 2
Their writing must have similes,
idioms and new words
Same exercises will be given 2 or 3
times
BUT the pupils must increase their
marks even though 1 mark.

Group 2(Potential B)
Section A COMPULSORY to write

sentences-optional)

Section B COMPULSORY to get 10 marks
for filling in the table and 4 marks for
giving the reasons.
Group 3 (Potential C)
Focus more on Section A & B, Paper 2
Their writing must HAVE MEANINGS and
MINIMAL spellings, punctuations and
grammatical errors
Same exercises will be given 2 or 3 times
BUT the pupils must increase their marks
even though 1 mark.
IF they couldnt increase, they have to do
it again.
Group 3(Potential C)
Section A COMPULSORY to write
- 5 simple (1 compound sentence-optional)
OR
5 simple sentences
Marks must be 5 - 6
Section B COMPULSORY to get 9 10
marks for filling in the table and 2 3
marks for giving the reasons.
SECTION C -Introduction

Qayyum, who is my cousin, is twelve years
old. He is active and mischievous. He lives
in a village which is 5 kilometres away from
his school. Qayyum walks to school every
day.
Elina, who is my classmate, enjoys reading
during her free time. She will borrow any
reading materials such as books and
magazines to read. She says reading will
widen her knowledge.

hobby is fishing.

from a poor family. He lives in an old dilapidated
house located in the outskirts of Malacca. His
family lives from hand to mouth. His father is a
sweeper in the wholesale market near his house.
Every day he walks to school.
