INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

I. RATIONALE AND OVERVIEW

The selected interns will undergo IP


training for at least 200 hours in the
BOA Special Projects office and in
the various project sites.

The interns will be reporting to the


Executive Director of the BOA.
Interns will receive a daily
allowance that will be given at the
end of each week. Interns will also
receive an Intern Kit consisting of an
intern identification card,
customized shirt, folder, stationery
kit, and BOA directory.

At the end of the IP, the intern will


be evaluated and rated, and will
receive a Certificate of Completion
if the intern is able to satisfactorily
complete the IP.

II. TRAINING AND LEARNING COURSE

The interns will undergo the following:


(1) briefing, (2) training on BOA work, (3)
training on BOA projects, (4) office
administrative work, (5) external work, (6)
public relations and information, (7)
research and reporting, (8) interim and
final evaluation and debriefing, and (9)
completion event.

IV. QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS OF IP

1.Undergraduate accounting
students of Metro Manila
belonging to the top 20% can
submit their written applications

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS OF IP

2. The following documents should


accompany the application: (1)
October batch: 258
certification from the head of the
accounting school or department attesting
that the applicant is ranked in the top 20%
of his/her batch; (2) a one-page write-up
on why the applicant is applying for the IP;
(3) Resume of the applicant; (4) Sample of
paper or article written by the applicant;
and, (5) 2x 2 photo of the applicant.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR APPLICANTS OF IP

3. The applicant should be familiar with MS Office


applications (MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint,
etc.), desktop publishing and digital design
software.

4. The applicant should be familiar with social


networking sites.

5. The applicant can proficiently communicate in


oral and written English.

6. The applicant should be able to work


independently with minimum supervision
