Statement of Problem
Field X (Well A) used in this study, was
developed in 2012 with an expectable average
production rate of 11000STB/d/well. Its
production dropped to 7200 b/d as at early 2015.
if not checked well A will become economical
unproductive, which is enough to render the
entire field unprofitable.

OBJECTIVE OF THE STUDY

Incorporate skin factor in Vogel model using

prosper.

Investigate if Adjusting parameters to match

the VLP & IPR has a negative impact on the
expected future study.

To review some factors causing oil rate

production decline

Methodology

In order to maintain the

confidentiality of this study:
Field X and well A have been
chosen as the field name and
well name.
while every other
information used in the study are
original.

Methodology
Field X and well A have been chosen as the field name
and well name.

Print screen of well A used as representative sample of

Prosper program.

DATA PRESENTATION AND ANALYSIS

Location

and installation

Field x is located in the UK sector of the North Sea. It

was developed in 2012 with 19 production wells and 9
injection wells

Geology
The Field is a shallow marine sandstone reservoir.
