Applying Youth Representation to

your BBC Three programme

Negative Representation Of
Youth

Teenagers are being represented.

They are being represented in a bad way for example it says

Figures show more than half of the stories about teenage
boys in national and regional newspapers in the past year
(4,374 out of 8,629) were about crime.

Its not accurate. (My Opinion).

The independent.

The purpose it to show that youth stereotypes are true and

you should believe what people say about how bad they are.

This targets males and females aged around 30 50 years

old and classes C & D in the socio economic table.

Teenagers would respond negatively and completely

disagree with the article.

Positive Representation Of
Youth

Teenagers are being represented.

They are being represented in a good way. For example it

says Believe it or not, not every single teenager around my
age goes around beating up people and smashing up cars.

Its accurate. (My Opinion).

Independent Article

The purpose it to show that youth stereotypes are not true

and you should not believe what people say.

Target audience would be teenagers and people who think

badly of teenagers.

Teenagers would respond in a positive way. People who

think badly might respond good or bad.
