SOME TIPS TO A GOOD DIALOGUE

1.) Speak in gentle, non-threatening


manner.
2.) Think carefully of what you are going
to say. Do not make the situation worse
by the angering person.
3.) Avoid using hazy statements and
global words such as always and
never

LISTENING TIPS

1.) Actively listen. Show that you are


hearing his/her point of view.
2.) Listen with empathy and try to stand
in the shoe of the other person.

A settlement of a dispute or
controversy by setting up an
independent person between two
contending parties in order to aid them
in the settlement of their
disagreement.

TRANSFORMATION

Conflict Resolution - The process of


ending a disagreement between two or
more people in a constructive fashion
for all parties involved.
Conflict Transformation- is the process
by whichconflicts, such as
ethnic conflict, are transformed into
peaceful outcomes

PEACEABLE CLASSROOM

Declare your classroom zone of


peace and establish riles to achieve it.
As the teacher, let this peace begin with you.
Affirm your students
Express your feelings appropriately and encourage
students to do so.
Encourage respect for the acceptance of differences.
Employ more cooperative than competitive activities.
Teach your students how to resolve conflicts
peacefully and constructively.
Practice students skills of communication.

IN PEACE EDUCATION

Holistic Education does not confine itself to


parameters of fats and concepts. It promotes
cognitive, affective, and behavioral goals of
learning.
Participatory Education means allowing learners
to inquire share and elaborate. It allows learners
to engage in dialogue with the teacher or with
their co-learners.
Cooperative Learning means giving opportunities
for the participants to work together and learn,
rather than compete with each other.
