Mankind must put an end to war


before war puts an end to mankind

WAR
War is an organized (and often prolonged) conflict that is
carried out by states or non-state actors.
It is generally characterized by extreme violence, social
disruption and economic destruction.
War should be understood as an actual, intentional and
widespread armed conflict between political
communities, and therefore is defined as a form of
political violence or intervention.
War is the failure of diplomacy

Jihad and war

The Arabic words for war is harb or qital which are found in
the, Qur'an and Hadith
War is repeated 36 times in Quran, peace is repeated 67 times
Also,

a. Defines attributes of hypocrites and their betrayals (12 verses)


b. Related to spoil of war (3 verses)
c. Rules of war (11 verses)
d. Defend the country (4 verses)

Quranic Verses
Permission (to fight) is given to those upon whom war is
made because they are oppressed, and most surely Allah
is well able to assist them (22:39)
Allah does not forbid you respecting those who have not
made war against you on account of (your) religion, and
have not driven you forth from your homes, that you
show them kindness and deal with them justly; surely
Allah loves the doers of justice. (60.8)
O you who believe! when you go to war in Allah's way,
make investigation, and do not say to any one who
offers you peace (4:94)

the lack of violence, conflict behaviors and the
freedom from fear of violence

Reformed and powerful General Assembly
Reform and make more effective the Security Council
Give attention, policy guidance and resources to
countries under stress, in conflict, and emerging from
conflict
Security Council must work more closely with regional
organizations
Institutions to address social and economic threats to
international security
Create a more potent international body for the
protection of human rights
