PAK CHINA

Introduction

Special economic zones

Beyond the initial phase there are plans to

establish special economic zone in the corridor
where Chinese companies will locate factories
Extensive manufacturing collaboration between
the two neighbors which will include the wide
range of products from cheap toys and textile to
consumer electronics and super fighter planes.
The basic idea of an industrial corridor is to
develop a sound industrial base, served by
competitive infrastructure as a prerequisite for
attracting investments into export oriented
industries and manufacturing.

Special economic zones

Such industries have held a succession of countries [bunch

of countries like Indonesia, Japan , honking, malaria, south
Korea , Taiwan , china and now even veet nam ] rise from
low cost manufacturing base to more advanced high end
exports
As a countys labor gets too expensive to be used to
produce low value products some poorer countries takes
over and starts decline to prosperity .
Once completing this corridor with a sound industrial base
and competitive infrastructure combined with low labor
costs is expected to draw growing FBI from manufacturers
in many other countries looking for a low cost location to
build products for exports to rich OECD nations [org
anization of economic cooperation of development].

Key Challenges

While the commitment is there on both sides to

make the corridor a reality there are many
challenges that needs to be overcome and these
challenges can be divided into external as well as
internal challenges.
External challenge the foremost is India's opposition
joining hands with Iran may be the US also join it
even some of the Muslim countries such as UAE
which would be adversely effected with this corridor.
Internal challenges , the key ones are maintaining
security and political stability ensuring transparency,
good governance and quality of execution

Key Challenges

One of the challenge is the ethnic divide

which exist in Pakistan
These challenges are not uncermountable
but overcoming them does require sevious
effors on the part of both sides particularly
on the Pakistani side
This is not the only option for china
remember there are two other options one
is through central Asia other is through Iran
but this is the shortest if we fail to deliver
china will have to think for the other options

Chinese Policy towards south

China has been playing a role of balancer

[If there are two estates competing with
each other if one is dominant country so
balancer would inclined towards inferior
one] china has been supporting pak
against dominant india
This cooperation has been in defense,
nuclear, economic corridor and then we
would discuss the role of United states

Friendship year

Futuristic China and pakistan on one side and US

and idia on other side china is emerging
economically by 2020 it is estimated that china
would be ahead United states , US would use india
to contain china in the region there are indications
of new cold war between US on one side, china and
russia on the other side. Its indication can be found
in Seryian crysis 2013, Ukranian crises in 2014 And
the recently established chinese infrasstructure
bank . This bank is a challenge not only for ADB,
IBRD and IMF. But also for the western economic
system. In case of a new cold war pakistan would
naturally be on chinese side
