Studies in Pakistan show that large
hospitals generate 2.0 kg of waste, per
bed per day. Of this, 0.5 kg can be
categorized as biomedical risk waste

million by year 2025

rates due to growth of population and healthcare facilities

i. Black : Non-Risk waste.
ii. Red: Risk waste with Sharps.
iii. Blue: Risk Waste without sharps.
